records show that he worked as a mason.
Unfortunately His wife is the head of the house in the 1851 Census.
However it is known that his father was William Davies and that David no longer lives at the family home, it's believed that he may have past away between 1846/51.
Ann "nee" Price, was born in Llandeillo 1803. The Daughter of G.J.Price. She is known as the head of the house in 1851 but as a widow in 1861 Census.
They Lived at Jockey Street,High Street,Swansea.
In the 1841/51/61 Census.
Interestingly 4 of the children were born in Portishead Bristol.between 1833/37.
It is known that Swansea has close links with Bristol during the early 1800's.
David and Ann had a total of 9 Children
Mary Davies Born 1829 Swansea
Little is known about Mary other than she was living at the Family home in the 1841 Census aged 11.
Not sign can be traced of her after this date.
Ann also no longer lived at Jockey Street in the 1851 Census.
Though there is no solid proof. An Ann Davies from Bristol and exact age is found to be working as a House servant at
7 Dillwyn Street, Swansea.
This is the only Match that can be found to date.
